Opportunity to lead our world-class operations
DHL Supply Chain has secured a strategically important new transport operation and is seeking an experienced Site Operations Manager to lead the contract from mobilisation through to steady‑state delivery.
This is a rare opportunity to build an operation from the ground up. You’ll lead all readiness activity prior to go‑live, establish high‑performing processes and culture, and take full ownership of operational performance, safety, compliance and customer engagement once the site launches.
You will play a critical role in ensuring a seamless go‑live on 1 June 2026, with strong support from DHL’s mobilisation, safety and operational excellence teams.
In this job you will:
- Lead all pre‑go‑live mobilisation activities
- Build site processes, operating rhythms and readiness plans
- Recruit, onboard and train the on‑site team
- Oversee daily transport operations to ensure safe, compliant and reliable execution
- Maintain strict adherence to COR and regulatory requirements
- Drive performance outcomes against service expectations and KPIs
- Act as the primary on‑site operational contact
- Build strong relationships through proactive communication and issue resolution
- Provide timely performance insights and operational reporting
- Lead a small, dedicated on‑site team of allocators and administrators
- Foster a high‑performance culture focused on safety, accountability and continuous improvement

What you’ll need to succeed:
- Strong experience in transport or 3PL operations
- Previous experience as a Site Manager or a Supervisor ready to step up
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Deep understanding of transport safety and compliance frameworks
- Strong commercial and operational decision‑making capability
- Competency in MS Office and transport management/reporting systems
